2019 Nissan Qashqai Preview, Concept and Specs
Included in the plan, Nissan will create the new 2019 Nissan Qashqai to keep its growing popularity. The current design is the second generation, and its debut was started in 2006. The second generation hit the market in 2013 as 2014 model year. It is important to get some updates since we need something new to see after spending about five years to see it back. It is possible if the company will offer mid-cycle refresh. The facelift will save its life with some novelties for its visual and technical design. The main highlight will be the new Pro Pilot system as its latest technology.
As what we have explained to you at the very first beginning that the new 2019 Nissan Qashqai will come with some changes in all aspects. The styling will be refreshed for some updates. It is expected to have some redesigned things at the front including the headlights, bumper, and grille. Other areas may get some modifications. At this time, we also have high expectation about seeing the car with lighter weight compared to the previous model to give something better for its engine performance.
There is no much expectation we have when it comes to the cabin design. It is because we believe that they would not go too far for the cabin. Everything will be the same as the previous model even if some new details are available including new colors, new trims, and new materials. The biggest highlight will be the new Pro Pilot technology to support you with autopilot ride. 2019 Nissan Qashqai will not go with lane changes, but it is possible for the company to offer it in the next future.
2019 Nissan Qashqai Engine
There is a high possibility that the company will carry over the current engine as the previous model. It means that there are three gasoline engines and two diesel options. The petrol will have the base 1.2-liter unit to make 115 hp and 140 pound-feet of torque. There is also 1.6-liter unit to make about 160 hp and 177 pound-feet of torque. 2019 Nissan Qashqai finally has 2.0-liter unit to create 148 hp and 148 pound-feet of torque. For diesel, the company provides 1.5-liter unit to create 110 hp, and 190 pound-feet of torque and the next option is 1.6 liter to make 130 hp and 230 pound-feet of torque.
2019 Nissan Qashqai will be available somewhere in the second half of 2018 with the price tag for the base model that can be started from $23,000.
