The second generation of Soul was presented in 2014, and it seems too early to ask a full redesign in the new 2018 Kia Soul. It will be facelifted for few months. Some possible changes are good to make. The biggest change will be the bodywork.
2018 Kia Soul is quite promising to come with significant changes for its exterior. The front end will be the primary prior for the company to get a new look. The shape of the headlights will be revised, and the fog lights will be higher but stretched to its sides. The grille will be replaced by more modern look from Soul. The minor changes can be seen from the inevitable windows, and the fake air vents will be removed. Also, the rear end is big before take, but it would not come with drastic change.
Move in the cabin, probably it would not get out with any significant changes. The current model has smooth and pleasant interior design, and the technology solutions are still acceptable. The second will be 2.0-liter four-cylinder that can improve about 164 hp and 151 lb-ft of torque power that will power the second and the third trim. The base of 2018 Kia Soul will be designed with both manual and auto transmission, but the two higher trims come with only automatic. The EV version has the same in many aspects, but rumors said that it would go with the improved electrical range. For the current model, it comes with 93 miles of range so that it can be higher with the newer version. The base engine can offer 0 t0 60 mph in just 7.5 seconds while the top speed is 124mph.
2018 Kia Soul Release Date and Price
2018 Kia Soul has a minor facelift, and the price would not change or perhaps a little bit increase. The current base price is $15,100, and the top model is $20,700. It should be ready to the market at the end of the second quarter of 2017.
