2019 Dodge Durango Redesign
Who don’t know about Dodge Durango? The car is quite old on the market since it has been around for many years. Its original version was available in 1998 and the first two generations were quite identical but the current generation which was the third got few changes. The next 2019 Dodge Durango is expected to have minor changes.
2019 Dodge Durango Changes
The ongoing reports mentioned that there will be many variants to provide. The SXT, Blacked Out, Shaker and Custom are the few names but basically they will use the basic styling details. You wouldn’t regret if you wait its arrival since people now is falling in love with the design of Blacked Out version. If we see the current generation, it was designed with significant updates and therefore we don’t have high expectation for the new 2019 Dodge Durango. It shouldn’t get much change, but a slight restyling is strongly suggested such as updated bumpers, lighting and grille including the rear lights with the support of LED technology.
2019 Dodge Durango for the cabin design will be completed by new infotainment system, updated voice control system and it seems that the company will make it great with some entertainment and safety equipment. There will be Bluetooth, smartphone integration such as CarPlay and Android Auto, anti-collision, rear camera and blind spot monitoring are just some lists you can find.
The current model is available in two engine options and both are gas. It has 3.6 liter V6 Pentastar engine which is able to work for 290 BHP and 295 lb-ft of torque. There is also 5.7 liter HEMI V8 engine that can go for 360 BHP. It is expected that the new 2019 Dodge Durango will keep the engines with the support of new eight-speed auto transmission and the new transmission to update the fuel economy by 9%. Dodge said that the new version will be lighter with the use of better and lighter construction materials.
2019 Dodge Durango for its debut has been started at New York Auto Show in the end of 2016, but its production should hit the market at least in the end of this year or in the beginning of 2018. The most important is no confirmation has been made by the official so we have to keep checking it back for any updates. It is possible if the concept car will be presented soon in the future.
